C’est l’intitulé que Philippe Lemoine a choisi pour sa nouvelle création jazz en quartet.
Un projet né simplement de la rencontre entre une intention musicale et les mots d’un poème.
Une affaire de sensibilité et de contexte.

La colère a du talent . Quand elle s’oppose au convenu, aux silences, à l’indifférence.
Je vous parle ici d’un courroux non violent à intention positive. Aucunement brutal, encore moins stérile. Une force de proposition en somme.
Philippe Lemoine rassemble autour d’un répertoire inédit et inspiré 4 énergies explosivement poétiques. Il avait déjà initié en 2003 la formidable et audacieuse machine à rythme que forment Olivier Lété et Eric Groleau, en créant le trio « Le Maigre feu de La nonne en Hiver ». Il s’est ensuite assuré la présence des délicates intuitions sonores de Didier Ithurssary , complice au cours des trois années de l’ONJ Claude Barthélemy 2002/2005.
Ensemble, ils nous livrent ici une musique d’invitation au voyage, qui n’a rien d’énervé, chargée d’une détermination et d’une expressivité laissant la part belle à notre capacité à nous émouvoir.
Le tout remue, trouble, touche, enflamme, chamboule, aspire, respire, embarque délicieusement les âmes nomades.

Le Talent De La Colère" (Great Winds, 2012) is the name of Philippe LEMOINE QUARTET's new jazz creation, a project that arose from a musical idea and a poem. Stepping back from the escape point has you running away from the Devil... Anger is positive when it fights against prejudice, silence, and apathy. We are talking about a soft wrath. No brutality involved, nothing unproductive. A constructive anger that leads to strength. Philippe LEMOINE plays his original repertoire with an amazing quartet: Olivier LETE on bass, and Eric GROLEAU on drums, whom he began collaborating with in 2003 inside the trio LE MAIGRE FEU DE LA NONNE EN HIVER. The fourth musician is Didier ITHURSSARY, the artist's partner in the famous ORCHESTRE NATIONAL DE JAZZ led by Claude BARTHELEMY from 2002 to 2005. This quartet is an invitation to a journey that will surely excite and inspire !
